About RWM Handyman and Remodel Services
Family owned and operated, RWM Handyman & Remodel Services was started by Russ Motes. After spending decades in the service/construction industry we noticed what seemed to be missing was a company that could provide BOTH superior workmanship AND fair pricing. There seems to be a mindset in the industry that good, quality work has to come at a premium price. We don’t believe it has to be that way! Whatever happened to the concept of “an honest day’s pay for an honest day’s work?”
RWM is built on ethics, integrity, and quality craftsmanship without shortcuts. We help customers realize their dreams and set expectations to build loyal lifetime partnerships.
At RWM Handyman and Remodel Services, we offer everything from full-room renovations to changing out a light fixture. We have worked in the area for over thirty years and have over twenty years of remodeling experience. We are fully insured and provide excellent service at an affordable rate.
We encourage you to get other bids for your project, then call us for a no cost estimate and give us the opportunity to prove top quality doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag! We are now proudly serving the greater Carbondale, IL. area as well as the Saint Louis metro area.

Russ and his crew did a fantastic job remodeling our kitchen! He responded to our request for an estimate quickly and his prices are fair. He and his crew are very friendly and flexible. We ran into some issues with the design from an outside agency and they were able to solve the issues quickly to our satisfaction. We have used this business in the past with great results and will continue to use it again in the future!

We were looking for someone to install a new toilet and thankfully we found Russ. Russ contacted me within a day and had our job on his schedule to be completed before the end of the week. Russ is extremely friendly, professional, and did quality work at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be using him again in the future.

Russ, installed a very large ceiling fan and replaced the electrical outlet with the remote control. After he did such a great job I selected his bid to replace my sliding back doors with French doors. He was on time and very professional. I would highly recommend him to others.

Russ was extremely reliable, easy to work with, and had very fair prices. We had some tedious trim work that we needed done in our old house and he knew just how to tackle it. It looks great! I would absolutely recommend RWM and will be using them again in the future.

We had several small projects building up and did not know where to go. We found Russ in a Google search and called him. He promptly returned our call and came out and gave us an estimate. They did some electrical work, tile work and general odds and ends around out house. I was expecting it to be a 2 or 3 day job and they knocked it out in 1 super long day. Their work is amazing. They are super friendly and trustworthy. Their rates very fair. I will recommend Russ and RWM to everyone I know from here on out.
